for travel insurance would Turkey = europe?

It depends upon the company you insure. Better take a international insurance an take a travel.

appreciate if you can help me with your suggestions/tips.
thanks.

If you are not an EU citizen, unlimited use rail passes are cheaper to buy before arriving in Europe. They come in several flavors, including all-you-can-travel for 3, 4, 5, etc. days where the ticket is punched with each day’s use (which deducts one day from its value). There are also 1 week, 2 week, etc. passes which the clock begins ticking on the first use.

There is little advantage to buying a multi-city ticket. A "multi-city ticket" will be a bunch of point to point tickets for the same price as buying them individually. A big advantage of delaying purchase until travel time is that if your plans change, you aren’t stuck with a paid ticket you can’t use.

That particular itinerary isn’t particularly efficient. It will cost less and be faster to route it as Italy-Zurich-Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam.

one year worked with Indian airlines call centre , 2 years with lufthansa airlines in Miles and more program, but for last 2 years i was working with tour operator company in delhi & i also escorted 4 groups of doctor to turkey, china & kathmandu. now i would like escort the tour with european people to South east asian countries . So how to get the job in european outbound travel companies.

Google the companies(as if you’re looking for trips to south asian countries), you’ll get lists of companies. Then apply for jobs.
Simple right ??

i only go for upto 5 days at a time.

it’s a good idea to get travel insurance, because health care is real expensive, especially if you end up in hospital. but this is a good idea aswell.

it’s a European Health Insurance Card, so if you do fall ill, the NHS will compensate you if you need health care abroad in certain circumstances. but you will not get everything paid for you, it’s a partial cover, they will only pay a small amount towards any bills.

I’m studying abroad winter semester in Paris, and I would like to visit Italy as well. I was thinking that I would fly into Milan, and then I would like to see Venice, Florence, and Rome. I noticed that it was somewhat expensive to take the train to these various cities. What is the best way to travel from city to city? Does anyone know of a good website to find train tickets? Also, where is the best place to stay, certain hotels? I’m still new to all of this.
Do you recommend train travel or flying? I figured Paris to Milan by flight would be better then by train, but Milan to Venice, and Paris to Nice would be better train travel.

If you want to move inside just one nation, services like Eurail are generally not advisable; for everything about Italian trains, look here: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
Trenitalia is the official site for Ferrovie dello Stato (state-controlled railways). There are some smaller companies, but 95% you have no choice but Trenitalia.

Look for trains descriptions http://www.trenitalia.com/en/treni_stazioni/index.html
and Travel conditions http://www.trenitalia.com/en/area_clienti/con_trasp/index.html
especially FAQ http://www.trenitalia.com/en/area_clienti/faq/index.html
for the more important informations; still, take a deeper look on that site for everything else.
You can also buy online, but you can simply buy the tickets inside the railway stations (just be careful about trains where booking is mandatory, like Eurostar).
In order to see the price of a ticket, select departure, arrivals and date the choose one results for details, then click on "Buy"; so you can see all the fares for that ride.

For hotels, you find some on Trenitalia site, yet, or look here http://en.venere.com/ for a list and also customers reviews.

Inside Italy, the best option is train, unless you really want to go from north to south; but for routes like Milan to Rome train is fast enough (4 hours and a half from city center to city center) and cheaper than a flight.

Milan to Florence and Milan to Venice are both less then three hours, Florence to Rome is 1 hour and 40 or 45 minutes. (all intended by using a Eurostar or a Cisalpino train)

Instead, from Paris to Milan is better a flight (but you can consider a train if moving from Paris to Turin, for instance; but look on Trenitalia website for international rides, as well)

My wife and I are planning a trip in December of this year. We will begin our European tour in Rome, Italy on a Thursday, but we would like to fly into Athens on Monday of that week. Our question is, about how far is it from Athens to Rome, and what are some travel options between the two? Is flying the only option?

There are other options (trains + ferries) but it is more than 24 hours travel, and trust me, it is really stressful if you have never traveled by train and ferry for a long journey. I’ve done Greece – Italy countless times in both ways and it’s much better going by plane.
A flight from Rome to Athens round trip it’s not going to cost more than 230€, and 150€ one way. Sometimes there are also offers, I went from Rome to Athens on April for just 99€ round trip!

England Vacation: Travelling Solo

The words England, vacation and solo do not seem to sound good the first time you hear them used in one phrase. But who says that it is not okay to travel solo? If it is considered as a deep emotional and social problem, traveling solo that is, then it is still not your problem. Who cares if you will spend your vacation alone? So what if you stand at the sidewalk of the Westminster Bridge and take a picture of yourself? ‘Solo travel’, after all doesn’t mean that you travel ‘all by yourself, the whole time, always alone’.

Unless you are planning to stay away from all the human beings (which is not possible on an England vacation), you have all the time to mingle and meet up with locals and other tourists. So don’t be afraid if you don’t know anyone in England. What is important is you take this opportunity to be with your own company while giving chances of meeting others in the process.

Here are the simple reasons why traveling solo is cool and why you should try it:

• You are in complete control of your time – where to eat, what to eat, what time to eat, where to sleep, where to go and how long will you stay in one stop. You are the itinerary.

• You are in control of your budget. Meaning, you do not have to force yourself to pay for the attraction that you do not like.

• Making friends is much easier. If you travel alone, you are less intimidating and much approachable than couples or groups. The best thing is you can have as much friends as you want.

• Your friends and family back home are waiting for your stories. And since no one can check the facts, you can exaggerate stories at will.

• You are free to try something anytime you want. And you are freer to try it over and over again.

• You don’t have to drag someone to a place you want to visit; and, no one will drag you either to a place you don’t want to see.

• You discover new places, foods, pastime and skills that you might not have tried if you are with a companion.

• You can make last minute changes without having to consult someone.

• Finally, traveling solo rocks! Period.

ACTIVITIES, PLACES and ATTRACTIONS you can do and visit when traveling solo:

The British Museum – appreciate the art at your own pace; at your own time.

The London Eye – be marvelled at the 360-degree view of the city on board London’s only observation wheel.

Guided double-deck bus tour – the ultimate sightseeing experience with entertaining guides and curious seatmates.

The Buckingham Palace – if you can, meet the queen. If not, take a tour of the Music room, Throne room, Dining room, Royal Mews stables and Queen’s gallery.

The Parliament and Big Ben – the signature architecture in London you can only see in postcards and photos. See them in real life, they are as impressive.

Thames boat tour – it is best if done at night. With calm water and the serenity of the surroundings, it is an ideal London date. Bring your newly-found friend for a romantic dinner.

Finally, try different kinds of afternoon tea and evenings at different pubs that wrap up your England vacation.
