First, I would have to side with the parents on this one. While you’re in Europe, enjoy the sights and sounds of a new continent. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people, and a chance to really enjoy something away from the keyboard. Trust me, the regret of spending your time in Europe glued to a keyboard and monitor instead of taking in what that amazing part of the world has to offer will stick with you for a very long time. Europe Vacation 2008 Highlights

I recently broke my leg @ a show (hunter jumper- horse missed a stride, I gave her the wrong sign, she jumped to early and came down on the jump) I can’t ride for 6 weeks. My horse has to be exercised during that time period or else she will become unhealthy. This horse means the world to me, she was flown in from Europe, so I don’t want anything to happen to her because of her lack of exercise. Of course, she will be turned out into the pasture, but if she does not jump for 6 weeks I am afraid she will not jump the same afterwords. So, I need someone to ride her while I am on “vacation”. Here is the other problem: my horse won’t let anyone else ride her. She is quite head strong, but I raised her so I now how to handle her when she starts misbehaving. My friends have all tried to ride her, but she ends up refusing the jump or putting the rider on the ground. None of my friends can ride her, but she needs to be ridden with in 6 weeks I cannot ride. What can I do?

Uh well there isnt much you can do.
If the horse wont let anybody else ride here.
Instead of having somebody ride the horse over a jump have them put the horse on a lunge line and make the horse jump it on its own with no rider.
Thats all I can think of?
