Health insurance to travel to Europe?
I have no health insurance and I’m going to go to France in a college trip for three weeks next semester and I need a traveler’s insurance. Where can I get such thing? I don’t want to get a whole health insurance.
Try Squaremouth. There is a section dedicated to travelers who need just medical insurance while abroad.
Squaremouth is a comparison site so has lots of choice. You can sort by price and amount of cover etc.

Travel agencies (like American Express) sell trip medical insurance via their websites. The insurance is valid all over the world, including Europe. You do not have to already be a ticket holder or agency customer to buy the insurance. You can also buy the insurance for only the three weeks of your trip, and it is not expensive.
For example, go to http://www.americanexpress.com, click on "Travel" (top of page), then click on "Global Travel Shield" (bottom right of page, under "Travel Resources").

You will want to get a International Student ID Card (ISIC) you can get them online for only 25 dollars or from most college international study offices. It is not only travel insurance but will get you discounts at many attractions throughout Europe (it is good for a year). I just used mine for 5 weeks in Europe and it paid for its self just in the money I saved not even counting the insurance.
Have fun

I’m pretty sure France is like Italy, the country is more socialist than a capitalist country, therefore everyone is covered if anyone is injured. France is just like Italy where they have national coverage.
